Imaging the food you eat are all genetically modified 

and you can’t get away with it.

In United State, 

soybeans and corns are the most common and the basic use in genetically modified industry, which soybean is 93% and corns is 86%,

and most of the GM food comes from company “Monsanto.” 

In Western of Europe, 

80% of the corn seeds are owned by six companies. 

Monsanto is the second largest one within them. 

Moreover, Monsanto controls 70% of seeds in over the world.

Monsanto’s headquarter is in Missouri, 

where contains nearly 22,000 employees, 

and it monopolizes 90% of genetically modified seeds in the industry.

In 2001,

Monsanto spent 83% of total R&D budget, $550,000,000, into seeds biotechnology, 

which only 29% in the average. 

In 2008, 

their efforts bring them the revenue of $11,400,000,000 

and net income of $2,000,000,000.

Monsanto customizes seeds to fit into different weather conditions over the world. 

With these seeds, corps has better looking than ever, 

and more quantity than it used to be. 

However, 
lands will fit seeds which only made in Monsanto and farmers can use their fertilizer and pesticide ever after. 

On the other hand, an England report shows that GM food may dangers people’s health in the long term, which make me concerned is there a place that I can buy non-genetically modified food.

Henry Alfred Kissinger said 

“control oil and you control nations; 

control food and you control people; 

control money and you control the world.” 

In my opinion, 

GM food will become a big issue soon since it is conflicting with the current trends of “health and green”. 

Besides, along with the expansion of GM industry, 

it will affect the labor price and change country’s relationship over the world.
